Sen. Ted Cruz improperly accounted for Goldman Sachs loans he acquired during his 2012 Senate campaign, the Federal Election Commission ruled on Thursday.

In a unanimous vote, FEC commissioners decided that the nearly $1.1 million in loans made to the to the campaign by Goldman Sachs and Citigroup should have been disclosed to voters and the American public.

The final report from the FEC is expected in 30 days, and further action, such as penalty for Cruz, will be decided, should the FEC decide to initiate an “enforcement action” at a later date.

But Cruz’s office said this is “old news.”

When Goldman Sachs has their hooks into you—it doesn’t matter what you say or even what you do.

You cannot be trusted.

That is my issue with Ted.

He has earned a lifetime ban with me.

Hillary does this with the Clinton Foundation and it’s a brilliant strategy.

Okay.

I cringe every time I see that video. Kids do not do that unless something is going on to cause them to fear being touched

Complete BS. I have six kids and one of them responds very much like that to any display of affection. She's just not a hugger - not with her parents, not with her friends.

They are all different. Three of them are huggers of varying degrees. Another isn't, but he's wrestler instead. (He's too big and dangerous for me now, so he has to settle for a hug, but he'd much rather demonstrate the technique for putting me in an arm bar.) One more doesn't mind being hugged, but he's not very comfortable with it and he doesn't hug back.

They are all great, well-adjusted kids/young adults - far more so than I was at their ages.

Agreed, for the most part. You have to wonder if anyone in Washington D.C. is really what they advertise themselves to be. But for what Cruz does do, give some voice and political representation to Christian conservatives, it’s hard to understand getting behind destroying him. What really got liberals so upset about him is not Cruz himself, but that he does empower Christian conservatives. Trying to destroy him will only serve to give every state in the nation senators like Schumer, Gillibrand and Hillary Clinton.

Despite his faults, Cruz is an asset for our side. I’m still pissed at him for the antics in the latter half of the Primaries, but he’s one of the most conservative folks we have.

Trump slaughtered everyone but Cruz and Hillary.

He had to work extra hard to win over Cruz in the primaries. Everyone knows that except you apparently.

I’m not mad at Hillary for almost winning. I’m mad at her for being a wicked, murdering tyrant.

So I can’t figure out why supposed conservatives hold a grudge against one of the most conservative senators we have, unless of course it is because his detractors are NOT CONSERVATIVES.

Even if Cruz was the most unlikeable guy on the planet, he votes conservatively.

So why do people like you side with Planned Parenthood, Al Franken, and Hillary Clinton, who all hate Cruz with a passion?

Ted Cruz is one of the most conservative, most ferocious, mot principled people in the Senate. He has fought the good fight when just about nobody else (except maybe Mike Lee) was willing to do so.

The utter hatred for him by some here reveals that they are not genuinely conservatives and definitely not constitutionalists. They’re pseudocons.

I thought FR was a conservative site.

You are correct on all counts. FR goes through cycles. It used to be a hard core conservative site. Then it went through a stage where it was a "Day In The Life of GW Bush" site. It used to be predominantly anti Newt Gingrich. Then it became very pro Newt Gingrich. Ted Cruz once was an FR favorite. After the tough and sometimes bitter primary fight with Trump, many here never let it go. These days it's a CDS site. It will change again.

They fear Cruz because he knows the constitution like the back of his hand ; it is not the true conservatives that detest Cruz...it is the rino’s and that includes not just the Trump supporters but the McCain , McConnell and Priebus folks too.
