It is beyond my comprehension that DOJ agents would threaten cases that take tens of thousands of manhours by exceeding their legal authority.

That is because you do not think like s true fascist. Everything is a tool to them. They view the laws as theirs to ignore as it suits them. They will do whatever it takes to further their agenda. Agents in whatever agency help them either out of sympathy for their cause, brown nosing for perks and promotion, or fear for their jobs. That will always be the case when a leftist gets control of the reins of power, and exactly explains their actions since they lost them. They are in fear..........

It isn't really that. A more accurate description would be they go Wild West because nobody has told them not to. For instance, when I look at Stingray I see it is as an obvious privacy issue and would need a warrant to use the device. I also need to be very careful about incidental data collected by the device. DOJ uses it without any controls until they get smacked down in court. It isn't facism, it's a lack of respect for the Constitution.

This latest FISA problem is a whole new level. DOJ was given specific instructions and then violated them. That should be grounds for lots of people to lose their employment.
