So if atom a can be influenced by atom b due to entanglement in the bell experiment, how do they insure that either a or b is not entangled by all the other atoms in the universe during the experiment?
Seems to me that atom b would be hopelessly out voted by atom Z to the google unless someone has invented an anti-quantum ray gun while I was not looking.
Quantum physics is a byproduct of pot usage. “Thinking themselves to be wise, they become as fools...”

“Quantum physics is a byproduct of pot usage.”
No, not at all.
But you are right in that it’s the cult that has formed around quantum physics that imparts all sorts of pseudo mystical meaning to it that is not there.
Thinking themselves to be wise, they become as fools...
Very appropriate verse for this day and age.
Entanglement comes about only under certain initial conditions: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_entanglement#Meaning_of_entanglement.
