[snip] Faith, Keith and I arrived early to set up for the interview in a room adjacent to another room where a volunteer BBQ was to take place. As the time for the interview neared, Gianforte came into the room. We exchanged pleasantries and made small talk about restaurants and Bozeman.
During that conversation, another man who we now know is Ben Jacobs of The Guardian walked into the room with a voice recorder, put it up to Gianforte's face and began asking if he had a response to the newly released Congressional Budget Office report on the American Health Care Act. Gianforte told him he would get to him later. Jacobs persisted with his question. Gianforte told him to talk to his press guy, Shane Scanlon.

Rush just announced that Acuna is walking this back somewhat.
Fox reporter actually witnessed it AFTER it started.
He’s also the boyfriend of the infamous arm grab/assault that didn’t happen during the Trump campaign. So he’s no stranger to false reporting.
Top of the hour radio news..
Alicia Acuna is backing down.. Says she didn’t see “reporter” grabbed by neck, hmmmmmm.
Another thing, once I found out that this reporter is the boyfriend of Michelle Fields, it was obvious this was a set up by that #nevertrump slutty twit.
Acuna is retreating from her original statement.
I’m hoping this doesn’t ruin his chances of getting in. One good thing, if he makes it I’ll bet the reporters in DC leave him alone.
I mean who cares. Big story over nothing.
Sorry but what Gianforte did is ok by me. I’d like the opportunity punch more than a few of them in the mouth.
These bad reporters do need attitude checks. He may be onto something. ;-)
lol
I’d like to “body slam” nearly every reporter in the US !
this should get Gianforte an extra 10 points :)
Seems to me the left tried to create a negative story and has been found out.....I say “Vote for Greg, we need a grand slam in DC”
Now that there’s a criminal charge, she is a witness
Hyperbole and Perjury might drive up news ratings but when the cops get involved, it’s a bad thing, Alicia
This incident will probably gain him more votes than lose...............
“Im hoping this doesnt ruin his chances of getting in.”
Are you kidding? Body slamming a reporter will expand his lead.
Gianforte ought to offer Pajama Boy a demonstration of what a “body slam” actually is.
Oh look. The story changes.
A reporter who was a firsthand witness to an incident late Wednesday involving Montana GOP candidate Greg Gianforte and a reporter for The Guardian now admits she may have misstated some details of her initial story.
