I’m always an optimist and I do end with frequent disappointment — but I see a number of things happening right now which “seem unfortunate” but which I happen to think are really Trump putting a plan into action.
Different example: The UK is really — really! — upset with the US for recent leaks related to the Manchester bombing. In fact, the UK has stopped sharing some terrorism-related information with the US because of these leaks.
Can you think of anyone who has been complaining of leaks in the US government? Do you think President Trump might benefit from additional people complaining about leaks? Here we have an international incident. It’s negatively affecting our war on terrorism. If President Trump comes home and REALLY cleans house and purges all leakers, would he now appear to be especially justified?
The UK is angry? I think Trump asked them to be angry. It helps him.
I think Trump is often two steps ahead of the curve.
Sounds like he is telling the truth. The bottom line is who murdered Seth Rich and why. If he has evidence then it should be looked into.
You noticed that I said Ted Kennedy killed Mary Jo, didn't you? Kennedy probably didn't plan to kill Mary Jo ahead of time (although that's certainly possible).
So that's why I threw in the "willful negligence". This was manslaughter.
The astute Soviet knew that the truth was in Pravda if they knew how to decipher the code. For example, the random article in Pravda about toothpaste supplies in Kiev, with nothing more, seemed innocuous to the casual reader. The astute reader knew that meant that Kiev has a shortage of toothpaste. An article on rail safety procedures meant there had been a bad train wreck somewhere (which was never directly reported in the USSR). So Pravda played their game of coded reporting and the people learned something approximating the truth by deciphering the code.
We don’t have that luxury. The American consumer of officially approved news is being manipulated and lied to with deliberately false information. There is no game here of telling a coded truth. It’s just blatant lies. And that’s why the official for-all-intents-and-purposes government press, and the government, hate Kim.com and Wikileaks and all the rest of the bloggers and internet sleuths. They are now the actual purveyors of something approximating the truth.

Their son isn’t coming back, if he’s now exposed as the leaker the mainstream media will collectively spit on his grave.
