OK Read the article.Girl took it to the Dean of students that he was sending out video of them having sex together.She must have been embarrassed and her parents told her to do it.He was told legally what could happen.If he cared about the girl why would he send out the video.Also we all warn our kids about this.What the school told the young man is standard policy.

You need to read the article. The girl only said she "believed Corey had played the recording for 'his friends' (it's not clear whether he did)."   He was not ever accused of sending it to anyone.

The video recording was apparently of such poor quality that it was impossible to make out any of its images. But under Illinois's age of consent laws, one person under the age of 17 can be charged with sexual abuse if he had sexual contact with another person under the age of 17, even if they're both the same age. Two 16-year-olds in a fully consensual relationship could be charged with abusing each other.
