You are telling me that you, a church, other people, have a hand in salvation.
I’m telling you that you are wrong and have bet your eternal soul on your own works.
By making the claims that you have some ability to earn what Jesus paid for by HIS work, that places you in the enemies of God camp.
I have no doubt you are only saying what someone has trained you to believe, because if you knew the real work of Christ you’d never try and make the claim that it’s your works that purchased it.
I am not telling you any such thing.
I would never bet my soul on my own works; nor is this the teaching of the Catholic Church.
You state your own misconception most vehemently, as if it were a fact. You would do better to ask questions, not make rash generalizations about other people’s beliefs.
