Yes, and Mr. Bradlee said nothing about the diary to authorities, even under oath, which tells you about what kind of a guy he was. The light of Watergate had no morals or ethics when it came to protecting the reputation of JFK while a poor homeless black man stood trial and the possibility of a death sentence for a crime he didn’t commit. Look at his “newspaper” today - has much really changed?? I’m always suspicious of murders in an espionage capital like Washington when nothing is taken of value from the victim; otherwise, what was the purpose of the murder?
