I look at my 18 month old daughter after I read stories like this and I just don’t understand how anyone can harm a child. i just don’t get it. This poor little child never had a prayer with parents like that. Disgusts me.

They eventually took him to a homeopathic doctor, who insisted that they take him to a real hospital. By the time they did, it was too late. The hospital pronounced him dead on arrival...

I wonder if the poor child was dead when they arrived at the “homeopath” and maybe they are a little touched in the head.

When I was a kid (many decades ago) my Mom used to make me a breakfast of soft boiled egg swimming in butter.I loved it and it didn't hurt me one bit...other than that I was 225 pounds at age 5 and had had my first heart attack at age 6.

Any woman hormonally normal enough to have given birth, and healthy and hydrated enough to sweat, can produce milk for her baby. Great God Almighty DESIGNED you that way, lady.

My daughter had a saxophone teacher, a young woman who was married to another teacher. I met this woman while I was out one day, and she told me she was pregnant, and, I asked how far along she was. She replied, 8 months. This woman did not even have a baby "bump", let alone the look you expect when you see a woman who is 8 months along.

She and her husband were "vegans", before it became the big thing that it is now.

After she had the baby, she continued giving lessons. So, I receive a call from her when the baby is about 8 months old. She started talking to me about how the baby sleeps all the time, and she really doesn't have the chance to interact with her. I asked if she was sitting up, or rolling over and starting to crawl a little. The child was doing none of that. I am pretty sure that they were not feeding her any normal formula. I wondered if she was breast feeding; but, considering the mother's own diet, I had to wonder if she was able to produce milk. So, perhaps a "soy" product?

My daughter graduated HS, and so I lost contact with this woman. But, I sometimes regret not being a little more forceful with her about going to a pediatrician and getting an evaluation from them about their child's "failure to thrive". I didn't, wish I had. I don't know what the condition of that child ended up being. You are right, Vegans are idiots.

I bought some cashew milk cuz I thought it was supposed to be good in smoothies. By mistake I poured myself a glass thinking it was real cow's milk. It tasted awful. Sorta like drinkable chalk masquerading as a nut juice.

I can only imagine that poor baby having to injest stuff that tasted like crap.

Some people should have their parent card revoked.

I think this has little to do with Veganism. I think they starved the child to death. He would have been at least mostly healthy on a diet of baby foods consisting of various vegetables, beans and probably coconut milk.

Moreover, if he had allergies, he could have been brought to an allergist for testing. These people are probably crazy and deserve much, much harsher sentences.

I guess vegans can be crazy, too. (I’m not one, BTW)
