There are plenty of reasons to disparage Belgium, their horrible drivers, insane traffic laws, and all the nasty little enclaves of malevolent Arabs, but in terms of the quality, abundance, and appreciation of excellent food and drink it has few if any equals. These parents are no different than the nut cases here who insist their little boys are really little girls and pursue surgery to make it so, or who pray over a sick child in lieu of seeking professional medical care. Lock them up and sterilize them both, then round up and hang some of the vegan diet sages who propagandize this nonsense about animal fats being poisonous.

My daughter had a saxophone teacher, a young woman who was married to another teacher. I met this woman while I was out one day, and she told me she was pregnant, and, I asked how far along she was. She replied, 8 months. This woman did not even have a baby "bump", let alone the look you expect when you see a woman who is 8 months along.

She and her husband were "vegans", before it became the big thing that it is now.

After she had the baby, she continued giving lessons. So, I receive a call from her when the baby is about 8 months old. She started talking to me about how the baby sleeps all the time, and she really doesn't have the chance to interact with her. I asked if she was sitting up, or rolling over and starting to crawl a little. The child was doing none of that. I am pretty sure that they were not feeding her any normal formula. I wondered if she was breast feeding; but, considering the mother's own diet, I had to wonder if she was able to produce milk. So, perhaps a "soy" product?

My daughter graduated HS, and so I lost contact with this woman. But, I sometimes regret not being a little more forceful with her about going to a pediatrician and getting an evaluation from them about their child's "failure to thrive". I didn't, wish I had. I don't know what the condition of that child ended up being. You are right, Vegans are idiots.

Based on their ‘dilution data’ it only took one goose liver to produce it all.

I bought some cashew milk cuz I thought it was supposed to be good in smoothies. By mistake I poured myself a glass thinking it was real cow's milk. It tasted awful. Sorta like drinkable chalk masquerading as a nut juice.

I can only imagine that poor baby having to injest stuff that tasted like crap.

I think this has little to do with Veganism. I think they starved the child to death. He would have been at least mostly healthy on a diet of baby foods consisting of various vegetables, beans and probably coconut milk.

Moreover, if he had allergies, he could have been brought to an allergist for testing. These people are probably crazy and deserve much, much harsher sentences.

I guess vegans can be crazy, too. (I’m not one, BTW)

Babies, newborns especially, NEED FATS, AMINO ACIDS and PROTEINS. Thai is why a mother’s FIRST milk is so full of them it’s yellow.

After 6 months, then you can start feeding solid foods...........
