On July 10, at 4:19 a.m., gunfire was detected in the District's Bloomingdale neighborhood. Not five minutes later, police found Seth Rich, a 27-year-old Democratic National Committee staffer, lying on the ground, dying from a bullet wound to his back. A conscious Rich was transported to the hospital; by daybreak, he was dead.
Nearly one year later, Rich's death remains one of America's thousands of unsolved murders — and the focus of endless conspiracy theories, spread this past week by Fox News, alt-right social media, a local D.C. news station and the Russian embassy in Britain. The reemergence of the conspiracy theory this week, which did not lack for real news, revealed plenty about the fake news ecosystem (or to use BuzzFeed's useful phrase, “the upside-down media”) in the Trump era. It also happened to cause untold pain for the Rich family, which has sent a cease-and-desist letter to the so-called private investigator who led this dive back into the fever swamp.

Here's what we learned.
TV news can be an easy mark. This iteration of the Seth Rich story started when the District's own Fox 5 ran a Monday night “exclusive,” citing one source — a Fox New legal commentator, Rod Wheeler — for a “big break in the investigation.” Reporter Marina Marraco reported that “conspiracy theories” could “be proven right,” as Wheeler was saying what had been rumored since last year: Rich might have leaked DNC emails to WikiLeaks, making him the target of an assassination.
“You have information that could link Seth Rich to WikiLeaks?” asked Marraco.
“Absolutely. Yeah. That's confirmed,” said Wheeler,

The Washington Post Calls the Seth Rich Story “fake news”
There was a British Ambassador that said Seth was the leaker. Don’t remember the name.
Kimdotcom is coming forth..will have to see if he has evidence or is just trying to interject himself into the story.
Once the NY Slimes concur with the fake news narrative then we’ll be 100% certain the story is true...by noon I bet...

The WaPo is by far the least believed print source of news, having achieved the credibility of Weekly World News. When the WaPo says “fake news” it’s almost a certainty that the cited story is accurate. Undoubtedly, they have an anonymous source who claims their “fake news” is fake news.
If the home and chief distribution center of fake news calls something “fake news” - then the opposite of the opposite has to be the real thing.
Sorry, WP, but you just cannot be objective about this sort of thing.

The fact that they’re even reporting on it would indicate that panic is setting in.
I thought Wheeler was a private investigator, not a Fox employee.
Why would WikiLeaks offer a reward for information leading to the arrest of Seth Rich’s killer if they had no prior relationship with him? I wish the WaPo would ask that question.
It’s always been said: “it’s not the crime it’s the coverup”. The WashPo and other media seem determined to cover up what happened to Seth Rich. If truth is allowed to prevail, we’ll see a nuclear explosion inside the Deep State. I think their hate is driven by fear of the truth. Corruption to the deepest parts of Hillary and Obamadom, that could sink them and media. Be afraid, be very afraid, the cockroaches will scramble as facts are revealed and turn on each other to make their own deals!
At least this story has a named source.

The DNC would dearly love for this sordid affair to go away, but it isn’t going to.
One of Podesta’s thugs: Robert Creamer. Be willing to bet he had something to do with Seth’s murder.
