That’s incredible!

I just did my first shooting at 1000 yds, using a friend’s rifle that was already sighted in and ready to go. It’s just amazing even at that distance! Hard to imagine 1.5 miles!

Spent time yesterday sighting in a home brew 6.5 Grendel. The 6.5 Creedmoor will have to wait until next weekend. The long range shooters use a 20 MOA scope base. First Focal Plane scopes are preferred. Getting started price is pretty steep. My Grendel was holding under 1 MOA with Russian steel cased ammo. Running out 100 yards and back was good exercise. The 1000 yard shooters bring a motor vehicle.
