I’d rather we swapped out basis in Turkey for bases in Iraqi-Kurdistan, including heavy bombers, right on the doorstep of the Mullahs in Tehran. If the politicians in Baghdad object, because they are too much beholden to the Mullahs in Tehran, then back full independence for the Kurds as well.
