So while President Trump is in Sicily at the G7 meeting Obama will be just up the coast in Tuscany... A suspicious person would wonder if 0 is planning to try to interject himself onto the global stage in order to discredit President Trump.

There is a bit of hint in the article. They are staying at resort/villa/village owned by Obama’s former ambassador to Italy “who made a small fortune as a public rights lawyer”. And there you have the “Deep State” in a nutshell. Someone who gamed the system well enough to buy a Tuscan village and refurbish it as a resort for the wealthy made his money as a “public rights lawyer”. And where did that money come from? Why us of course. No wonder they are upset with the swamp-drainage project.

That’s right - and landing at an Italian military base, it would figure they were Italian planes.
BUT - isn’t this story OLD? It was reported when he supposedly went to Italy a couple of weeks ago to make a speech and was paid $2,500,000. Or is this a different trip?
I highly doubt they were U.S. fighters. What the Italians do with their air force is their business.

According to this article, former Presidents and their spouses get lifetime Secret Service protection, as well as their offspring up to age 16. Former Presidents can also get up to $1 million per year in travel expenses and their spouses $500,000 per year. Of course, at the rate Obama is going it seems he would be exceeding these limits.

Obama sold the rights to his memoir in a recent auction for $60 million. He has the money. He will also be sure to receive enormous speaking fees, etc for the rest of his life. He will undoubtedly set up a foundation that he can use to further bankroll his lifestyle. The government pays up to a million in travel for him, 500k for his wife every year. He can accept free stays at ‘friends’ homes and flights. Most hotels would comp him or pay him for the PR generated. Countries will pay for him to visit , take photos with the leaders, and make a small speech. When he stayed at the Tahiti hotel for a month ‘working’ on his book with his ghostwriter, there was a big review of the hotel on the dailymail two days before it was announced (I read it and found it interesting when two days later it was publicly announced Obama was going there). He’s going to live like a King for the rest of his days.
