U.S. Senators Charles E. Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand today announced $4,804,166 in grants for New York state community development organizations in the national NeighborWorks® network. The funds will support developing and preserving affordable housing, maintaining and expanding neighborhoods, and growing jobs. The FY 17 grant funding will be released by NeighborWorks America.

Have a feeling most if will be funneled back to their campaign funds....all at taxpayer expense.
Does Schumer have anything to say about Weiner? Weiner used to work for Schumer. Weiner was inspired to run for Congress by Schumer.
So, where in the US Constitution is the authority to disburse money for “community development?”
Sounds like “community organizing” to me.

That’s a nice little slush fund.
In other words:
Schumer just granted himself over $ 4 Million Dollars so he can get another housekeeper and even pay for her rent in the slums, while keeping the extra 3.9 Million DOllars for Booze and Little Boys.
Down a rat hole.
Establishment buying votes.
He and his witch underling have never done anything but self serve themselves. Have we not given enough to these people who do not want to work, keep having babies in a generational entitlement. Enough!
I may be missing something here, but how does the Congressional minority get to decide this?
