Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) reportedly said Tuesday that scandals within President Trump's administration are reaching a "Watergate size and scale."

McCain made the statement at an International Republican Institute dinner on Tuesday night. Multiple reporters said that during a speech at the event, McCain compared recent reports surrounding Trump's administration to Watergate, which led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.

McCain's statement came just hours after a bombshell report that Trump asked then-FBI Director James Comey in February to stop his investigation of former national security adviser Michael Flynn. Trump has faced major fallout over the last week following his surprise firing of Comey and reports that he revealed highly confidential information to Russian diplomats

Senator John McCain passed documents to the FBI director, James Comey, last month alleging secret contacts between the Trump campaign and Moscow and that Russian intelligence had personally compromising material on the president-elect himself. - January 2017

McCain is the one who should be impeached.

McCain is a vile vindictive bastard.

His ego is so big he will forever be a thorn in Trump’s side for him dissing his “heroic military service”.

His girlfriend Linda from SC is just as bad - he won’t forgive Trump making fun of him either.

The biggest problem Trump has, he doesn’t have his own party behind him, and many in his party are just looking for the right opportunity to join the dems in sticking a knife in his back.

John McCain is concerned. Every one of Trump’s “scandals” exist only in the minds of his detractors and the “never-Trumpers”.

There is not, and never was, any “there” there.

The swamp is in deep ferment, and the water level is dropping.

Juan McCain isn’t a huge, steaming pile of `rat poop.
He isn’t a fly buzzing about or a maggot squirming in that huge pile of poop.
Juan is the fly and maggot poop.

Someone close to Trump needs to begin leaking reports of Songbirds behavior in Vietnam and dust off the Keating scandal.

McInsane must be brought under control. McConnell could bring great pressure if he would but he won’t. At some point the Republicans have to ask what is the upside of kowtowing to this deranged warmonger?
