Miss USA Angers Liberals with Answers on Feminism, Health Care

The newest Miss USA, District of Columbia’s Kara McCullough, found herself at the center of controversy during Sunday night’s pageant when she chose to answer questions with words that didn’t toe the accepted politically correct line.

McCullough, 25, answered a question about affordable health care by saying health care was a privilege and not a right. She said the country’s focus should be on getting more people jobs so they can afford health insurance. Liberals ran to Twitter to disagree — and complaints ranged from calling for the removal of the contestant to downright misogyny.

McCullough also answered a question later by saying that she did not consider herself a feminist. “I don’t want to call myself a feminist,” McCullough said. “Women, we are just as equal as men, especially in the workplace." McCullough said she didn't prefer the word "feminist" and “transferred the word feminist to equalism.” The liberal crowd chimed in once more

Beauty pageants are goofy to begin with. They were big in the 1950’s. The prettiest girls never win anyway

If she angers liberals, she’s good in my book.

This girl’s IQ must be off the charts. She graduated with a degree in radiochemistry and believes her destiny is in her hands. She’s all about individualism and self empowerment.

It's good to know that having a brain did not disqualify her.

I’ve always recognized the process before the outcome. As a female scientist at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission I feel successful walking into my agency, because I know only I can control my destiny. It all became clear that I am in competition with myself, when I overcame my fear of math at a young age, graduated with a degree in Radiochemistry and decided to be the only scholar in my class to major in Radiochemistry."

The Left is a big mess. Anytime something does not fit their ideological religion, they levitate and spin hurling pea soup, pull out their hair, have exploding heads and leave their garbage all over the ground. On Mother’s Day their mothers are embarrassed to call them their children.

She also declined to call herself a feminist.

3 of the top 5 were black girls. 1 with heritage from India. 1 white girl from Minnesota - who finished 5th.

I guess if a man can be a woman and a white girl can be a black girl, a strikingly homely woman can be a beauty queen.

"In her intro video for the pageant, McCullough said: "My definition of success is not allowing fear or failure to define me. I’ve always recognized the process before the outcome. One of the best statements I've heard come out of a Beauty Pageant contestant :-)

I just checked on it during commercials on another program I was watching.

Didn’t see the first question about health care (though I agree with her answer), but did see that last question about feminism they asked of the three finalists and she by far had the best answer.

Also caught the final 10 selections. Noted that 3 were Caucasian and 7 were minorities, so I knew a minority was slated to win. ....Guess the liberals were trying to make up for the Oscars a couple of years ago when no blacks won anything.

Miss D.C. is obviously a sharp person (nuclear chemistry) and I thought she deserved the win.

Folks, I didn’t watch the pageant but only one of the top five was a Caucasian? With roughly 60-65% of the populace Caucasian, how did that happen?

Where these other women that good, or is there something up here?

I agree with your assessment.

Was glad Miss Illinois was not in the final 10. That is a black woman with the entitlement attitude and a blatant feminist!

I am glad she didn’t say women are not equal.

IN fact women have far more rights than men, they know it, and they still claim to be the victims in society. They have far more support structures across society, everyone is supposed to care about them, no one gives nearly the same attention to men.

Consider the VA hopsitals versus all the specialized healthcare for women. Show me one place in any US hopsital that has a specialized Mens Center dedicated solely to the diseases of men. I can find hundreds of Womens Centers for healthcare.

I see tons of stuff about breast cancer (and awareness commercials) and idiot men wear pink to further feminize themselves and see nothing about prostate cancer which is comparable in deaths to breast cancer.

Well, health care isn’t exactly a privilege — it’s a free market service. But Kara has the right attitude. FWIW, her remarks were more insightful than the post portrays.

The Left will hammer Kara McCullough. Fight back. And take note if the MSM demeans her. Remember, the MSM is a proxy for the hatred dispensed by Disney, Comcast, Time Warner, and CBS. Don’t patronize those that dispense hate.

It never takes much to anger those sad sack liberals. They actively look for ways all the time. It lets them feel like victims.

Put enough makeup on an ugly enough person and take a picture at just the right angle and they can look nice. That’s what you’re seeing in that pic.

Here’s a different pic of ‘her’. If you told me that this was a pic of a man in drag, I would see no reason not to believe you. http://www.pinoyambisyoso.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/District-of-Columbia-Kara-McCullough-1.png

That chick is plain old ugly.

Too many people being redoubled lately for the leftists. Their wall of PC lies and intimidation is going to fall so hard they will be dazed for years when it happens.
