Seoul (AFP) - North Korea’s latest missile launch was a successful test of a new type of rocket, Pyongyang’s state media reported Monday.
Sunday’s launch was of a “newly-developed mid/long-range strategic ballistic rocket, Hwasong-12”, the official KCNA news agency said, adding that leader Kim Jong-Un “personally oversaw the test-launch of the new type of rocket”.

Hope the first test firing blows - up, right on top of Kim.

So... I guess someone must have finally explained to them what "No Dong" means in English.
For those of you who laugh at fat boy, you might want to read up on a very rarely mentioned War Game called “Operation Millennium Challenge”.
General Paul Van Riper used technology, not unlike what the Norks would use in a similar situation for his Red Team.
He took out 16 warships and a carrier which would have resulted in over 25,000 casualties using nothing but 1950’s technology.
This would’ve equaled an almost total destruction of the “superior American fleet”. Not only did the US military screw that war game up, they also changed the rules and “refloated” the blue team’s ships and started over.
I can easily see a similar situation happening around the Korea Peninsula if our military is just as cocky and reliant as they were on “modern electronic weapons” during OMC.
So an EMP over our ships then attack with backwoods equipment? Sounds dangerous.
Try blowing up something larger than 20kt then.
Define "LARGE."
Nuclear artillery shells weighed a bit over 50 pounds in the kilotons range... So what's "large?"
Either from the surface, or kinetic weapons from orbit.
How much does it cost per target to do it the old fashioned way?
tick tock
They are afraid to put a nuclear warhead on one of their missiles. It would more than likely lift up, sit down, and blow a hole in North Korea.
