Sounds like if Trump recorded his meeting/phone calls with Comey, congress will subpena those recordings.

Congress can try to subpoena such recordings, but they have no grounds to do so unless they can prove a crime was committed. The courts would make that decision.

Congress was stonewalled when they tried to get documents from the Obama administration on Fast and Furious, the IRS scandal, Benghazi, etc. even with subpoenas. Obama declared executive privilege. Hillary destroyed over 30,000 emails without being charged with a crime.

There are rumors that Obama had a recording system in place in the WH. Perhaps Trump took advantage of that system. There is nothing wrong with recording telephone calls, meetings, etc. JFK and LBJ did it along with Nixon.
