I often wondered why Trey Gowdy didn't oppose him? He's a natural. But seems they are friends for some reason.I stopped trusting Gowdy long ago.
Sounds really tough....
Comey is a lot like McCain. He has an inflated opinion of himself and any criticism of him will be responded to in spades. Comey holds grudges and will try to destroy Trump for having the temerity to fire him for incompetence. The Dems will be sitting on the sidelines cheering him on. It will be a major feud with the hope that Trump has some taping system set up that they can subpoena.
Congress was stonewalled when they tried to get documents from the Obama administration on Fast and Furious, the IRS scandal, Benghazi, etc. even with subpoenas. Obama declared executive privilege. Hillary destroyed over 30,000 emails without being charged with a crime.
There are rumors that Obama had a recording system in place in the WH. Perhaps Trump took advantage of that system. There is nothing wrong with recording telephone calls, meetings, etc. JFK and LBJ did it along with Nixon.
I proclaim my expertise on the matter of Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame, bathroom attendant for the CIA.

Remember it was discovered that a buddy of Colin Powell released the info about Plame but this independent prosecutor, APPOINTED BY THE VERY HONEST AND DECENT COMEY, sent Scooter Libby to jail anyway, never mind the truth or anything.
And then there's Sandy Berger.
Here's my bigger question, why is some nobody on FreeRepublic telling this? Why don't the Republicans come out and tell this story over and over?
Instead we get Lindsay Graham on Meet the Press agreeing to appoint and independent prosecutor, knowing the awful history of this action.
Rove putting forth the case that the way Trump fired Comey it's only going to assure a tough confirmation and a demand by the left that a special prosecutor be installed.
You can tell Rove hates Trump and is probably a closet never trumper,(but a deep stater first and foremost) trying to do what he can to get rid of Trump.
too bad Karl you won't get your special prosecutor! Trump is too smart to fall for that BS. But you can keep on trying.
Haven't seen Meet the Depressed today, but Graham must have changed his tune. Unlike McCain, Graham had been against the appointment of a special prosecutor.
No question that Rove is a #NeverTrumper. He has been ever since Trump announced his run for the Presidency. He is a Bushie who has never reconciled himself to the fact that Trump won the WH. He was critical of Trump every step of the way predicting defeat.
I’m also suspicious of Gowdy even though I loved watching him tear into HRC.
Seems he is very fond of Linda.
I went back and reviewed Lindsay’s talk with Todd. Todd put up a poll by America with 78% wanting a special prosecutor. Lindsay says it’s now a counter-intelligence investigation but if it goes to a criminal investigation he will advocate a special prosecutor.
Graham also wants Trump to release his tax returns?
Why?
What the hell are Republicans doing demanding turning over tax returns? Do they not think this will go against them in the future?

You’re right about Rove and Wallace serving each other’s interests like they’re in tandem! Wallace loves Karl’s whiteboard to the point of girl-giggling whenever Rove employs the damn thing.
I’m sure Rove suffers from Bush-butt-hurt inflicted by Trump who’s never shown proper deference to any Bush in Rove’s opinion. Har!
F Chuck Todd and NBC going nuts over Comey,Comey,Comey!
Rove had a legitimate claim that Trump probably didn't fire Comey in the best of ways. Of course we may not know the entire story of all that yet either.
But for Rove to take that fopaw to the next level and claim that Trump now jeopardizes his new nominee to the FBI head and he will be forced to have a special investigator is a step way too far if you are supposedly on our side. Which we know Rove is not.He's a cabal all the way employee and as you say has always hated Trump. The President is his own man and cabal employess don't want that.

Linda wants proof that Trump did not, has not received income from Russia or from Russian sources.
Rove and most of Fox is NeverTrump. Did not even watch it this morning since you knew what you were getting. May as well be CNN.
Yeah exactly. Too many things don’t add up for Gowdy. He’s sort of “the Lucy pulling the football away from charlie brown” of congress over and over,never really striking gold.
Trump is the biggest threat to everyone in DC in the last 50 years. Much more dangerous than Reagan who had insiders in his administration.
Wallace is the perfect example of DC nepotism and corruption.
