For a Convention of the States dedicated to Georgia's application language which would rebalance state and federal powers, the count is now 12 down, 22 to go.

"Rebalance state and federal powers" has some appeal, but it's not as good as rebalance citizens' rights vs. federal power AND state power.

But let's hope that the Article 5 Convention of States movement doesn't sputter because of disagreements amongst the petitioning states on what subject matter is to be in play.

Once congress receives applications from 2/3 of the states, it is duty bound to call a convention.

Over 400 applications have been submitted. Where the call to convention?

Alexander Hamilton: "By the fifth article of the Constitution, the congress will be obliged on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the states to call a convention for proposing amendments, which shall . . .
