Yes, that is why you see some southern states turning blue or purple (NC, VA, GA, TX) Democrat voters are leaving their hellish blue states for greener pastures due to high tsxes, jobs, etc. But in their new states vote for the same Democrats that ruined their former states.
Why do California and New York keep their electoral votes with such exodus? Lousy leftist states.
I doubt all those people are moving for political reasons but it might have the same effect.
CA and NY are simply too expensive for most people and certainly way too expensive for college grads.
I have 30 something year old’s working for me who make great money but cannot afford to save any money, buy a house, etc. CA takes a huge chunk of their money for income taxes and then with whats left they pay astronomical rent, $7 for a gallon of milk and $3 for a gallon of gas.
I tell them to move to Texas.
I intentionally migrated in 2013 for two reasons
a) to be close to family
b) to get away f on the ridiculous Cra Cra that is california

C’mon, you honestly believe that most people who migrate plan to do it? Uproot their way of living, sell their house, leave their jobs, friends, family in order to pursue the goal of political conversion of other states?
You’re now seeing an interesting trend where formerly Democratic states in the Northeast and Midwest are turning Republican. Even before Trump won unexpectedly in states like Michigan Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, those states have become increasingly “red” in recent years.
blue people want what red people have but are unwilling to give up their very bad terrible blue ways....
