FOX Expert Herridge: Comey Was Fired Because He Refused to Reveal Obama Unmaskers (VIDEO)

FOX News national security expert Catherine Herridge told The Five last night that FBI Director James Comey was fired because he refused to reveal the Obama administration “unmaskers” to President Trump.

The Obama administration spied on and unmasked the identities and conversations of several Americans in 2016 including officials close to President-elect Donald Trump.

"I had forgotten about Catherine Herridge. I thought she was being quietly eased to the background because of her age."

Well, she's younger than Shepard Smith and they aren't trying to ease her out.

One of the comments at the site was this: "Comey was blindsided while out of town to prevent him from sanitizing his office of evidence of wrongdoing."

I'm trying to picture it -- did Federal marshals post themselves inside and outside his office, ordering his staff to step back, just before the announcement was made? Did they leave with computers and cartons of documents loaded on dolllies?

Well, I have to admit I never believed Trump about sending her to jail. The whole issue is much bigger than her and it would dominate the news for years (through indictment and trial) and quite frankly, would hurt Trump by overshadowing his agenda and spending time and energy fending off constant paybacks. The dems and media would be worse than they are now.

It is more important to pursue his agenda than Hillary. Keep your eyes on the prize and not Hillary.

As far as promises go, you have to be realistic. No one can keep every promise. It just can't be done for a host of reasons, so I never look for 100% because it can't happen. I'm sure you can't keep every word you utter and the same goes for politicians.

Instead I look for priorities. In other words, I look to see what the administration is working on and if they are working towards their goals. In the process, some promises will be kept and others are just too problematic.

If Trump delivers on most, I am happy. If he delivers on 80%, then it is time to be ecstatic.

I think he is doing fine. Give him some time and room and you will be happy in the end.

Very wise words there. +1.

Trump gave us Neil Gorsuch. And more SCOTUS’s to come. And for this alone I am very happy.

I think his first 100 was good. Not great what with the missteps with TrumpCare - but OK.

You’re right. Trump will be fine.

So because he was fired he was locked out of the FBI building?

There was a question as to what transportation he could use to get from L.A. back to D.C. because he was fired effective immediately. I would hope that there are procedures in place that would prevent a fired director from having certain access to classified materials immediately upon "you're fired."

It takes time to drain the swamp.

Pres. Trump does not want other pond scum to slip back in. The only way we could have such incredible corruption in our government is if it is embedded deeply everywhere.

Only a few per cent of an iceberg is above water. We see the Susan Rice's, the Obamas, the Clintons but for everyone on the front page, there are dozens hidden who are creating havoc.
