"Sevin does."

A Lyme sufferer told me that guinea hens eat ticks. I wonder if chickens do.

I'm dust spraying food grade Diatomaceous Earth along the floor boards of my house... and my bed.

Yes, chickens will keep your yard free from ticks, but they make other deposits that are not really kid-friendly if you catch my drift.

We let our chickens run free during the day. I can't remember the last time anyone got a tick from being out in the yard or working in the garden. Outside of the area the chickens roam the ticks are bad. I mowed our horse paddocks on Sunday and pulled a tick off of Jr. on Monday.

YES chickens do eat ticks........Live in a tick infested area and had at 1 time up to 45 pet chickens free range on 2 acres................they keep the tick population down!!! But the chickens ended up being nice snacks for the hawks and snakes :(
