The former director of national intelligence stands by his statement from March.
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Russian interference in the 2016 election that there is still no evidence of the Trump campaign colluding with Russian officials, on Monday.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) asked Clapper if his statement that there is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials is still accurate.
Clapper made the remarks in question during an interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd in March 2017.
Clapper informed Graham that statement is still accurate.
Heck even Liberal loon Diane Feinstein told Wolfie on CNN that there is ZERO evidence Trump colluded with Russia, still doesn’t stop these liberal loons from peddling the same BS they came up with last April to explain why their messiah Hillary Clinton got her butt whipped
The whole idea is absolutely insane just like the left. Why the hell would the Russians even want Trump as POTUS over Hillary? With Hillary they could have gotten or done anything they wanted! Just bribe her! Even Henry Kissinger said it makes no sense why the Russians would want Trump as POTUS.

I think all this has been damage-protection from fall-out due to the very obvious wrongdoings of the Clinton Foundation. If the Clintons are prosecuted, the true believers and the lapdog media will protest “Trump does it too”. The lack of evidence will not deter them.
So... Trump and Putin will have a much harder time dealing with each other with the specter of prior collusion hanging over their heads. Its all about preventing the two of us from building stronger ties...
The two colluded to arrange to feed Rice raw, anti-Trump material for the express purpose of distributing the CIA's anti-Trump intel via the President's Daily Briefings (PDB's)...... or elsewhere.
As a bonus, Rice got to "unmask" someone.
This was all an arranged game in which Rice colluded to strengthen the Democrats attack against Trump for dear, old Hillary......thereby pumping Rice's bona fides to become Hillary's Secy of State.

After Israel complained a long time about about the Muslim-in-Chief befriending Iran they have been strangely low profile these days. I read the NY Times on this for about two weeks, and then stopped, because it became intellectually insulting.
They only ever cited “anonymous” sources, quoting unseen documents, used loaded, fake-news phrases like “potentially explosive revelations,” and then interviewed and quoted real government/political talking heads - giving their comments on the possible consequences of these totally manufactured, unproven allegations.
All designed to leave the stupid, credulous and incurious the impression there was really something, anything there.
Not only Brennan.... "Susan The Sifter" had a dog in this hunt......Hillary tapped her for Secy of State. Mighty powerful incentives for anti-Trump political shenanigans.
Thankfully, Susan's so stupid, her public explanations of her activities set her up for a precipitous fall.

A Wall Street Journal editorial took issue with Rice's assertions (actually its more like her deranged mindset). Democrats in 2005 had claimed the appalling practices she engaged in were rare for a political appointees like Rice. Rice had no direct intelligence duties in her role as Obama's national security adviser.
“Ms. Rice had no direct intelligence duties in her NSC post, and no Democrat has provided a valid reason that Ms. Rice might have needed to unmask anyone associated with the Trump presidential campaign,” the Wall Street Journal editorial said.....
So Rice also lied to her employer? As of March 2017, Rice has begun a job as a Distinguished Visiting Research Fellow in the American University’s School of International Service.
She told the school her position with Obama involved providing the President with daily national security briefings and was ‘responsible for’ coordinating the formulation and implementation of ‘all aspects’ of the Administration’s foreign and national security policy, intelligence, and military efforts.
She said nothing about her investigative intel activities.

This has been my speculation since last summer.
Taxpayers demand she answer questions....and they want answers now.
Questions for Rice:
1. When did you request the unmasking, and from which agency?
2. Who in that agency actually did the unmasking? Please provide the written requests you submitted.
3. Once the names were unmasked, did you still believe there was a threat to national security from the named US persons?
4. If so, with whom did you share the information, and what actions were taken to protect America and American citizens?
5. If you did not, then you should not have shared the names with anyone else, so how did the names become known?
6. Why was any of the info detailed here deliberately withheld on the FISA application? (it's a felony to willfully withhold information when applying for a FISA).

Alarmingly, the supposed ‘threat’ identified by Rice was about to be inaugurated as President of the US. Shouldn’t Congress have been notified? Why did Rice keep it a secret? Maybe she planned to collude w/ the Clintons to sell the intel to a foreign country?
The NSA didn’t unmask the information initially, plus later investigations found NO collusion between Russia and Trump. Seems to be proof-positive that whatever suspicions Obama/Rice/Brennan may have had to justify the unmasking were absolutely wrong, or more likely non-existent.
