I apologize, I had to post quick because things are getting heated quickly, there’s already been an altercation.
People want to tear Jackson’s statue down in Lee CIRCLE (sorry for that as well), and Antifa is mixing in with the crowd to harass protesters.
The mayor of NOLA, a turd even among politicians, even among NOLA politicians for that matter, as well as some private university admin/faculty in the woodworks, have decided to astroturf the ‘demand’ to tear down all Confederate monuments in NOLA, as that will make NOLA wonderful. Antifa has been imported into this as well.
I believe they are tearing down the statue of R. E. Lee today. That is what this about. Sorry I’m not more precise, there are a lot of rumors and counter rumors.
