After drawing criticism last year for taking a private jet to accept an environmental award, Academy Award-winning actor and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio took a commercial flight to and from last weekend’s People’s Climate March in Washington, according to a source close to the actor.
DiCaprio was also driven around locally in a Tesla electric car.
In May 2016, DiCaprio flew to New York from France on a private jet to accept an award at the Riverkeeper Fishermen’s Ball. He reportedly flew back to Cannes after the ball.
PJM learned that the actor traveled from New York to Washington and back on a commercial flight for the march, at which he did not deliver any speech.

He owns four different yachts and he once knowingly humped a married woman whose husband found out about it and killed himself.
The guy’s a media construct,an artificial person.
He reportedly gets very paranoid on commercial flights. His bodyguards are unarmed in flight. He won’t fly long distances commercial.

Well, if he really wanted to walk the walk, he would, well, uh, walk, or at least ride a bicycle.

A commercial flight in which he likely bought every seat... LOL... Relax Leonardo... You probably burn through more fossil fuel over the course of year than most people will use in a lifetime. The gesture will likely be appreciated by like minded hypocrites, those who preach conservation of fossil fuel for the common good, but burn it like it’s going out of style... Which it isn’t.
And that’s the rub. We have enough oil to last a thousand of more years... Oil and coal will be in use long after our bones have turned to dust and the entire ‘climate change/ global warming’ sooth sayers movement turns into a fringe cult, rather than the full blown religious status that it currently holds.
The idea that we’ll all be driving around in electric vehicles is as crazy and insane today, as it was when it was first contemplated back before the first gas guzzling engines were invented. Mind you, there are plenty of people who have been given billions in taxpayers dollars to make you think that electrical vehicles can be an alternative to the internal combustion engine... But that doesn’t make it true and they can throw billions more down the drain to make rich people think they’re helping the environment, and it still won’t be true.
My advice to Leonardo and his hypocrite friends is this... Oil and coal are here to stay and they’re not going anywhere .... Get used to it.
Good actor...but deep down he’s very shallow.
Of course, DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo and other warmunist celebs are just another reason to . . .

Apparently Leo has finally realized that flying to climate change marches in your private jet is utter hypocrisy. However, he isn’t smart enough to recognize that living in a Hollywood mansion and flying in his private jet is also hypocrisy.
Darryl Hannah was truly walking the walk years before DiCaprio. DiCaprio must be a newb at living out his convictions.
Not so good an actor, imo. Thought he was a creepy kid and haven’t changed opinions since.
If all these folks were that upset over their carbon footprints, they’d have held this gathering over the internet rather than having them all fly in.
I see so to improve the optics he flies first class and rides in $100,000+ govt subsidized car to go to a march to save the planet. A true American hero no doubt about it.
