FBI Director James Comey testified Wednesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee that Hillary Clinton emails containing classified information were forwarded to the computer of Anthony Weiner, the former congressman and estranged husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.
Comey also strongly defended himself on Capitol Hill for his Oct. 28 letter notifying Congress of newly discovered emails appearing pertinent to Clinton's private server investigation, arguing it would have been "catastrophic" to conceal such a revelation.
He explained that his investigative team informed him in late October of metadata from Weiner's computer showing thousands of Clinton's emails on that device, including what they thought might be the "missing emails" from her first three months at the State Department.
Weiner resigned from Congress in 2011 over a sexting scandal and saw a 2013 mayoral run in New York City go up in flames for similar reasons. The investigation that led to Comey's letter concerned his sexting with an underage girl.
Acknowledging that he did not want to influence the election in any way, Comey told Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) that he could only see two options: Speak or conceal.
"Having repeatedly told this Congress we are done and there's nothing there … To re-start in a hugely significant way, potentially finding the emails that would reflect on her intent from the beginning, and not speak about it would require an act of concealment in my view," he said.
Comey said that speaking out with less than two weeks to go before Election Day would be "really bad," but he called an act of concealment "catastrophic."
"Between really [bad] and catastrophic, I said to my team, we've got to walk into the world of ‘really bad,'" he said. "I've got to tell Congress that we're restarting this."
His team found "thousands" of emails, some containing classified information, that were forwarded to Weiner's computer.
"Somehow, her emails were being forwarded to Anthony Weiner, including classified information," Comey said.

“Thousands” would just be through some casual mistake, nor from Huma just sharing some interesting stuff with Anthony. Thousands would be for a deliberate purpose, IMHO.
This was obviously Huma Abedin’s computer. She let Pervhubby have it without wiping it.
So, Hillary forwarded hundreds of classified emails to Huma.
By letter of the law, both have committed hundreds of felonies.

They never ask the logical next question.
I doubt that Hillary, herself, ever opened or read even one of her own classified emails. That job was probably delegated, as Hillary would have thought it was below her, to actually do clerical work such as dealing with emails. I suspect that Huma (and maybe others) did all the email stuff, and just shared with Hillary whatever they thought she should know.
Only learning of this and saying so, NOW?
Perhaps the FBI could forward this information to some Federal law enforcement agency for investigation since obviously they've had their thumbs up their butts for the past few years on the email servers.
Has to be Hillary. How can she admit she allowed someone else to use her email account to forward classified email?

Agreed! My only point was that in reality, it was Huma’s computer not Anthony’s. And it’s just another example of obfuscation trying to say that it was his computer and not hers. Fact is, all three of them should be under indictment today.

Under further questioning Comey just said Huma forwarded thousands of emails to her husband, some of them classified, for him to print out. Yet neither will be prosecuted because the FBI didn’t think they could prove “intent”. Same as Hillary. Huma couldn’t print her own emails – aren’t there printers at her office? Or were there restrictions on what could be printed there?” Why did she need them printed and what happened to them after they were printed? Maybe she didn’t want the email trail showing where she really intended to send the information…in hard copy.
So what crimes can I commit and not be prosecuted for because no one can prove INTENT??? Something here stinks BAD.
