I think one of the most beautiful planes ever built.

It’ll be sad to see it go when the B-21 comes.

I sure hope that the B-21 doesn’t sacrifice functionality for stealth.

Yup. That, the F22, and the B2 top the list IMHO.

Although I’m also partial to the A10 Warthog!

They used B-1s in Baghdad to do low-level, high-subsonic runs over the city. They called it something like Morale Suppression and was done when there was general unrest. As I recall it certainly seemed to calm things down.

I love the Bone. I was stationed at Grand Forks AFB, ND when it replaced the B-52s and loved to watch the air operations.

Writing that, I am an old Cold Warrior and I think one one the most beautiful sights is a B-52. That old relic was , and still is the backbone of our bomber fleet and also the aircraft portion of our nuclear TRIAD. There is something about the B-52 that makes me love her and nothing more awe inspiring than when I was able to watch the old, now gone, G models perform a Minimum Interval Take Off (MITO). The smoke from those old water burners would hover over the base for over an hour after ten or twelve of them practiced a MITO along with several KC-135As.
