Complete Headline: A floral flop! Caroline Kennedy models a VERY unflattering dress on the Met Gala red carpet - just hours after being hailed by Vogue as one of the 'best dressed of all time'
Caroline Kennedy is known for her classic sense of style and fashionable know-how, so it came as quite a shock to see the diplomat take to the red carpet at this year's Met Gala in a highly unflattering - and rather bizarre - dress that quite closely resembled an antique lampshade.
The 59-year-old, a close friend of Met Gala chair Anna Wintour, arrived at the star-studded event in the bizarre layered gown, which featured three different floral patterns, each printed on their own poofy layer of fabric.
Caroline's bulky dress, which totally swamped her figure, fell at mid-calf height and left her arms completely concealed, an element which simply added to the peculiarity of the overall look.

In all fairness, this was a “costume” event. However, of a the photos of the various costumes I have seen, this is still the ugliest and most bizarre.
She looks like she is ready to go on the opera stage!!!!

I won’t engage in any sort of mocking of Caroline. Her life has had far too much tragedy for any one person to endure.
She has not been crazily outspoken like for example Chelsea Clinton.
She deserves some deference for the tragic circumstances of her life regardless of whether she lives in luxury.

With all of their money, the Kennedys cannot buy class or looks. The only one who was good looking was JFK Jr. though he was not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Caroline, you look disgusting. Too bad, no one around her is honest enough to tell her.
