1,665 Pages: GOP Spending Bill Longer Than Obama’s Stimulus

(CNSNews.com) - The new federal spending bill proposed in the Republican-controlled Congress to fund the government through the end of September--which is now posted on the House Rules Committee website--is 1,665 pages long and includes an average of approximately 210 words per page.

That makes this bill approximately 350,000 words long—or about twice as long as the stimulus law (the “American Recovery and Reinvestment Act”) that President Barack Obama signed less than a month after his inauguration in 2009.

As CNSNews.com reported in 2009, the House Appropriations Committee, in the then-Democrat-controlled Congress, released Obama’s stimulus bill in two PDFs less than 24 hours before the House was going to vote on it. One PDF was 575 pages long and the other was 496 pages long, making the entire stimulus when published in that form 1,071 pages.

I do not know the wording of the 1 week extension, but how about continuing week by week until the wall is in, planned parenthood inc. is out, and the pork is out.

One of these weeks with a full executive branch installed, maybe Ryan can get indicted. And the next one, and the next one, until a
Louie Gohmert type is speaker.

President Trump should veto it and see if the oink'ers (pigs) try to override the veto).

Maybe people in Congress who vote for this should be referred to as PIGS-R-US

I’m confident that Sen. Schumer has made sure that every item in the spending bill can be justified under Congress’s constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers. /sarc

Drain the swamp! Drain the swamp!

Remember in November ’18 !

Since Trump entered the ’16 presidential race too late for patriots to make sure that there were state sovereignty-respecting candidates on the primary ballots, patriots need make sure that such candidates are on the ’18 primary ballots so that they can be elected to support Trump in draining the unconstitutionally big federal government swamp.

Such a Congress will also be able to finish draining the swamp with respect to getting the remaining state sovereignty-ignoring, activist Supreme Court justices off of the bench.

In fact, if Justice Gorsuch turns out to be a liberal Trojan Horse then we will need 67 patriot senators to remove a House-impeached Gorsuch from office.

Noting that the primaries start in Iowa and New Hampshire in February ‘18, patriots need to challenge candidates for federal office in the following way.

While I Googled the primary information above concerning Iowa and New Hampshire, FReeper iowamark brought to my attention that the February primaries for these states apply only to presidential election years. And after doing some more scratching, since primary dates for most states for 2018 elections probably haven’t been uploaded at this time (March 14, 2017), FReepers will need to find out primary dates from sources and / or websites in their own states.

Patriots need to qualify candidates by asking them why the Founding States made the Constitution’s Section 8 of Article I; to limit (cripple) the federal government’s powers.

Patriots also need to find candidates that are knowledgeable of the Supreme Court's clarifications of the federal government’s limited powers listed above.

Exactly........let the Demorats think they have cause to celebrate this..they have no clue what’s coming. Trump did the right think by keeping the government going....and ONLY til September (important to remember it stops then)......now they have to pass his Tax plan and once done he’s going to re-visit them with his wall etc. and Government spending ...LOLOLOLOL

The man knows what he’s doing.....this is very exciting!

You are completely delusional. I won’t even go into detail. This is primrose path stuff. The uniparty is alive and well and Jared Kushner had something to do with the blood transfusion.

Look the republicans have two sides. The democrats on one side and the freedom caucus on the other. If the freedom caucus won’t sign a bill, Ryan just goes to the democrats and gives up what they need to pass the bill.

I am not sure the Freedom caucus are getting what they bargain for. Or I would say that if they bargain they will get something. Now the democrats are getting something. And we are getting nothing.

Article 5 Convention NOW....this corruption is too big for one man..

With Trump neutered that is our second to the last hope of overthrowing the oligarchy that rules us.

Doesn’t matter one ioota.....Trump just set them up and of course they can’t see it.....this was a great play....because now his Tax plan is most assuredly going to pass just before September, and then Trump will nail them on the budget! LOLOLOLOL

People need to quite reading what the Demorats bait them with and instead actually watch the plays......headlines are a dime a dozen and not worth much more than that....

I am so proud of this man! Good going and now we wait....lolol...the fun has just begun!

Despite the sea change that elected Trump, the damn GOP acts in defiance of it.

Stop it! That’s not true and you know it.....quite grumbling and look at the big picture and discern it rightly....you should not need to be spoon fed what’s going on with passing this.

I’m so sick of people here who can only see the hand in front of their face....sheesh!

Trups got no explaining to do....if you can’t see now you sure aren’t going to see if it was spoken in detail.

The grumbling here has got to stop...then people might understand the plays.

Step 1. Revoke all EPA regs on any river feeding into the Potomac/

Step 2. Get as many heavy industries dumping as many flammable chemicals into the Potomac.

Step 3. Light a match, drop into the Potomac.

We can’t drain the SWAMP I think the need to burn the whole damned town down...

[ The lobbyists on “K” Street wrote it. We have the best Uniparty money can buy. ]

I wonder if we can get a list of the K-street lobbyists and start raising some money on the internet for some “professional work”

1. Elect More Republicans - Failed due to RINO/Uni-party confluence.

2. Article V Convention of States to propose Amendments - Needed to try to take power from the federal government back to the states and reel in the federal leviathan.

3. State Nullification - Last ditch effort to try to take power back from the federal monster, though by this point it may be too late.

4. State Secession - Could either end up peaceably like the breakup of the Czechoslovakia in 1993 or a brutal:

5. Civil War II like the first one.... The longer we wait on #2, the more likely #3, then #4 and finally #5. .

So, do we do nothing and just wait for # 5?

The Gop is actually worse than the Demorats because at least we know the Demorats are going to oppose everything Trumps wants......The Gop is actually the swamp that needs more clearing out than any thing else!....All they care about it feathering their own nests this we know....and they are willingly to oppose Trump just to ‘show’ they still retain power....Paul Ryan, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Susan Collins, Will Hurd, Martha McSally,...just to name a few.....

Again....it’s not about shutting down the government....that accomplishes nothing at all except each side pointing to the other to blame.....it’s about the up coming Tax Bill to pass before September!.........everything hinges on that .

I was speaking with a Business man today of a very large company.....he said that the average guy on the street doesn’t understand how significant this Tax plan is. ..and all that’s going to open up and happen thereafter.

He explained enough that I at least understand how it’s going to work....it IS key.
