Ahead of a highly anticipated Senate hearing later this week, FBI Director James Comey is being accused of making inconsistent statements about the bureaus relationship with Christopher Steele, the ex-British spy behind the Trump dossier.
Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, made the allegation in a letter sent to Comey on Friday.

Grassley will have a chance to quiz Comey on the issue on Wednesday, when the FBI chief testifies before the Judiciary Committee in a routine oversight hearing.

He can be inconsistent every day of the week (would that be consistent?) and nothing will happen to him. One of Trump’s greatest miscalculations was keeping that putz on.
Trump has been giving him enough rope to hang himself and Comey will. Better he hang then Trump being accused to firing him to hide something.
Trump is playing 3-D chess not checkers. Sit back— watch— learn!
Comey keeps saying he’s investigating the Russian connection to Trump’s campaign. The instant Trump fired him, the MSM would begin nonstop, never ending hysterical rants about the similarity to Nixon’s Friday Night Massacre.
Trump has to let that investigation play out a while longer, before he can fire Comey with fewer fireworks. That’s the exact reason Comey is dragging all this out—to limit Trump’s options.
