Our beef with the press is not that they ask 'hard questions'...(is that the most self-serving crap you've heard this year or what?) God we would applaud the press IF they asked 'hard questions' - - equally of both parties.
Can anyone pull a clip of a FACE THE NATION interview with Obama that was as staccato and rushed (with the intent of confusing the interviewee) as was shown this morning with President Trump. Save your time - no need to look - one doesn't exist.
The Press had two standards - one for their 'teachers's pets' and one for us. AND that's what we object to... the bias. The hate. The bullying... We support the first amendment - we wish liberals supported it. Their backing would have helped with the violence against Milo, Ann Coulter, Charles Murray and hundreds of other conservatives... But as usual, they were AWOL. Their great concern never extends beyond their own 'family' - their own ox...
Also there's the Democrats and Press' bazaar pride in being 'inclusive' when the ONLY groups they 'include' are self-identified democrat backers.
They aren't 'inclusive' inviting Minhaj to trash Trump - he's ONE OF THEM.
THEY SEE skin color - they SEE religion ... WE SEE THE IDEAS BEHIND THE PERSON. Almost without exception every person at the 'White House Correspondents' Dinner' was a white liberal elite or a token from the groups that prop up white liberal elites.
The DINNER'S room shared the same ideas, the same prejudices, the same hated of Trump and his backers. There was ZERO diversity in the room.
We saw the room in the "best obtainable version of the truth" They saw themselves through their filter of hate.
Example: Trump's face was NEVER orange - never 'cheeto' it was an illusion created by the hatred of biased liberal cameramen who USED AN orange lens filter to make PRESIDENT TRUMP look orange. The press did NOT use a black filter on Obama - and if they had ALL of us would have screamed bias.
THEY do it to our people and their elites pretend not to notice.
Same with the 'press' at the dinner . They do not see 'best obtainable version of the truth'... they see the illusions that allow them to think well of themselves... the illusions that allow them not to see us as human.
Could our side brag about being 'inclusive' if the people we were including were 'members of the NRA s'? Would the press be able to print that without comment? "Yes, Republicans once again are being tolerant and inclusive by inviting a member of the NRA to speak at their gathering."
Yeah, right.
Eff off Bob Woodward and the Washington Post and the New York Times... thanks for trying to keep liberal hate in check (Minhaj was asked to hold back on Trump bashing) Guess the high priest of the MSM know Americans are on to them... and the press doesn't want to look as biased and one-sided and hateful as they are...
