Last Friday my sis and BIL met their kids at a small restaurant half way between their homes
They interacted with An older gentleman and his walker through the evening As they were leaving sis offered to carry his takeout box to car and noticed a WWII vet sticker on his car. She thanked him for his service and stated “my dad served in WWII”
Which branch? Army air corp. —Me too!
Where did he serve? South Pacific ! Me Too!
I was on Beack. So was dad

But the BEST part is he told sis of the new exhibit at Wright Patterson Museum for the 13th.
Dad had his wooden kit under one of my tables filled with pictures etc from the base. We were never allowed to look into it. Just before he died he told me to get it to someone. There was history in the box that would be wanted

The last thing the gentleman told sis was who to contact to give anything daddy might have saved that might be of interest to the museum. He said you know we modified THE PLANE.

freepersup, those questions are way above the pay grade of any of us. What I do know is that each life matters as much as anyone else’s, and comparing your situtation with that of someone whose story ended differently can serve no positive purpose.

I am sure of that. Especially if they think they won this round. We may be entering the next negotiation from a point of weakness. Unless it all S pin on their part, which is very likely.
At least this is better than what I read earlier today on another thread, that the Democrats inserted – or maybe it was our own party – that the 1.5 trillion was not to be used for a wall at all. I still haven’t gotten confirmation from that poster. I’m not going to read the bill, I don’t have the patience or legal understanding for that…
