Antifa upped their threats in Portland this week in Portland.
The Antifa Communist group managed to get an entire parade and carnival canceled in Portland this weekend due to their threats.
Antifa promised to rush the parade and beat the Multnomah County Republicans who were attending the annual event.
Thats not all The group threatened to stab Republicans.
They also have Trump assassination photos on their Facebook page.
Festival people decided to cancel the entire weekend of activities due to the threats of violence by the leftist group.
Secret Service needs to arrest these thugs.; all
Oregon has both shall-issue concealed carry and no-permit required open carry.
I am a little perplexed that the Republicans did not just show up, armed both with firearms and video cameras.Small groups could easily be self-protecting and self-documenting.
There are probably two reasons:
1. Republicans are smart enough to avoid violent street confrontations, and
2. A local jury would be tilted strongly toward Antifa sympathizers.
he was convicted of a felony and sentenced to several years in jail.
Crazy Portland judge, I guess.
I saw the video and the still pictures of that incident. The Judge was not being crazy. The "reporter" was provoking the crowd to the fullest extent of his abilities.
I think the decision was correct. If he wants to be an armed reporter, that is OK with me. But he was a lot more than a reporter. He was trying to provoke the crowd into attacking him. And when he eventually got the response he wanted, he brandished his weapon.
IMHO he is too stupid to carry a gun. He was confronting a crowd in order to exercise his ego. Not a valid reason to brandish.
It is never valid to provoke a confrontation and then threaten deadly force.
Interesting perspective...
