At the ‘thank you’ bash with major donors after her 2016 loss, one donor basically said her time was over [implying that the money would seek other contenders in the future].
In 2020 she will have difficulty raising money, she will be facing Dem challengers from the old guard and younger, and she will likely have to campaign from a stretcher.
She could barely campaign in 2016. In the weeks before the election, she would campaign once or twice a week and let others — Michelle and Barak Obama, Chelsea, BJ, Kaine, Fauxhauntas, etc. — campaign in her stead, as she tried to coast to the Oval Office.
She may attempt another run, but she will find much more opposition from her own party and find the money has switched to more viable candidates.
