colluded with their High School teachers and counselors to remove any sort of encouragement or curricular support for anything but a university at $20,000+ a year even if where said student's interest lies simply isn't in a field that makes $100k+ a year for decades, if ever, and said in response: "Ok, you want to financially******me that way? **** you."

Ending H-1B will alleviate a lot of the problem. The problem is unmitigated globalism and immigration which dilutes every Americans earning potential.

Ending H1-B *and* removing women from the workforce.

Too many women's jobs are "make work" jobs which actually hinder productivity and increase costs. Most of HR and diversity coordinators for example; not to mention all the costs of compliance, maternity leave, extra sick leave, "mentoring," sexual harassment lawsuits, and endless political games where the women try to score points against one another rather than actually producing.

It might. Of course, after a generation of cheap labor, there are not many American skilled laborers left. It takes a long time to build an experienced engineer.
