A lesbian leader is not so surprising considering Islam on the face of it is seen as not very homosexual friendly.
She could push people on the Right out of politics entirely and thus make AfD a Leftist aligned party. I don’t think that is what you want though.
The AfD is a crazy mixed-up party with a lot of different angles to it.
Go look at the platform of Pegida from the end of 2014. They were the big focus group that helped AfD take off with it’s agenda. From the political platform....Pegida made it clear that acceptance of sexuality (whatever the game) was part of their agenda ahead.
Go look at Le Pen....she’s attracted a fair number of gay groups across France.
I don’t think anyone knows what AfD will evolve into within the next five years. Remember, they started out just as an anti-Euro party.
