Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart, who hit it big on their first album with the single Crazy on You. I flat love Nancy's beautiful acoustic guitar intro to the song, which I sometimes pick so wonderfully on the 4-string tenor banjo that listeners have been moved to tears. And, occasionally, diarrhea.

Less well known: when the new United States of America became a nation, it needed a National Anthem. The Francis Scott Key poem that was eventually to give its words as the lyrics that begin Oh say, can you see.... would not be written until the War of 1812, so until then, we made do with a patriotic little religious ditty of the day by William Billings called Chester,. Today's leftists and America-haters would despise it, if by some remote chance they were ever to learn of it.
