now, ultimately, he did place an incredible number of boot licking judges in all levels of the federal courts, but that was a product of the fact that he was in office for 20 years.

True. But the shot across the bow rattled SCOTUS, which suddenly saw the light and began ruling in favor of New Deal programs.

Smashing the 9th. could have similar effects on the rest of the Federal Judiciary.
