Although my income is in the low bracket I think it is fundamentally wrong to tax higher income at higher rates.

Oh you’re absolutely right.

What Trump is doing is unfair and unconscionable .

We deserve NO income tax and a National Sales Tax.

But we all know that ain’t gonna happen.

I agree.

Why should anyone be penalized for being successful.

There is no incentive to become successful.

A flat tax, or the Fair Tax should be passed.

Russia passed a 13% flat tax in 2001. It was successful. Of course their economy is nowhere near ours.

Imagine filling our a card with your income, deducting 13%, and getting back anything paid over the 13% back. A post card return. No more IRS daggers hanging over people’s heads. No more imagined inequity. All would pay the same.

One bracket, one flat tax for all. Simple. Most of the IRS can be eliminated for huge savings.
