The “Antifa” far left Communist group has managed to get an entire parade and carnival canceled in Portland because the Multnomah County Republicans were going to be in the parade.
The communists threatened to riot, loot, assault people at the parade. The festival people decided to cancel the entire weekend of activities, which was going to be this weekend due to the threats of violence by the leftist group.
The Antifa group promised to rush the parade and drag away the Republicans.

Maybe in a non-communist state, the governor could call out the National Guard for this type of thing?

Liberals only love and respect violent thugs. The Obama voting cohort of the country will applaud these goons for shutting down this event, and for crushing the right of free assembly of those they disagree with.

The antifas now know that they can run Portland and will start putting people into the City Commission or whatever it is called there.All they need is one and they own Portland.

I think it was an empty threat by Antifa. Oregon is a “shall issue” CCW state. I would think that every Republican would have been carrying.
Republicans should register for parades in every sanctuary city.
Last I knew, it was illegal to have a loaded gun in a public place in Portland. Seriously.

Exactly. Have Guard Troops in place. Anyone wearing a mask will be arrested on felony rioting charges. Anyone actually rioting will catch assault with a deadly weapon and/or attempted murder charges as needed. No mercy will be shown by Police who should immideatly respond with bean bag rounds. If they tried to drag marchers away, lethal force wold be used.
Watch it stop real quick.
