Perhaps that’s why Trump is letting her do these things. So she gets whacked upside the head by that 2X4 known as “reality”.

Agreed. I think it’s obvious daddy President Trump is grooming Ivanka to be a world leader one day; probably US President. It’s clear he loves and respects her; if she showed an interest in politics why wouldn’t The Donald, as a father, support her in learning the ropes.
They both kind of jumped into the pool before learning how to swim. This is giving her a chance to learn how it all works at the highest levels. I said in another thread that I would like to see Jared and Ivanka fade into the background some but I doubt that will happen as long as there is no good reason to make it happen. Donald wants her to be the best person and woman she can be. Her cover is she is working to empower women to succeed at all levels. What better way to do that than as an example.
Remember Princess Diana for the UK who died tragically in a car accident? The people absolutely loved her. If Princess Di were alive today and the same(ish) age as Ivanka; I have no doubt they would have a lot in common and be BFF’s. There simply aren’t a lot of intelligent beautiful women at that level so the peer group is quite small. Like it or not; the Trump’s are on their way to being American Royalty without all the pomp and fuss the English Royal Family has to deal with. I bet the family secretly doesn’t like all that stuff anyway. :)
