The University of California at Berkeley is bracing for massive protests in a public plaza on campus after learning that conservative commentator Ann Coulter plans to give a speech there Thursday afternoon.
Sproul Plaza, site of the iconic Free Speech Movement protests in the 1960s, is both symbolic and logistically challenging for the university. On an open campus, anyone can flock to the plaza.

If I didn't have to work for a living, I would consider driving up there to see Ann. I've been on the Berkeley campus many times and know it well.

IMHO there is a very simple step to reduce most violence at this forth coming riot sponsored by the extreme, violent, left.
Digital photography will be used.
If you show up at the speech site wearing black, carrying a backpack, wearing a mask and/or protective gear of any kind your photograph will be taken. If you refuse to unmask you will be arrested and processed for refusing a police order.
Strip the leftist punks of their invisibility and they will become much more likely to be peaceful. If they don’t it has been recently proven you can be quickly identified through a series of digital photos (thank you BHO for this capability). A full digital photography of your face will make things much easier.

You're "hoping that's wrong"? That people who don't want to hear somebody speak simply don't go to hear her speak? That is the perfect dream of any Constitutionalist.
They intend to IGNORE her.
Perhaps they're concerned that she might have a number of big boys with her, that won't stand for any nonsense. Like real security personnel.
Or, they're just saying that in an attempt to soften their target (and conservatives/Americans are always their target).
