He is caving on funding in this bill by saying it can wait until September.
However, he needs to keep framing it that it is the Dems fault.

I wouldn’t cave. I’d tell Congress to go piss up a rope and shut down all non-essential services and tell them never return.
I hope Trump sticks to his guns on this border wall. We here in Texas have had to live with rampant illegal immigration for decades and all the sweet lil gifts it brings us.
Educating, incarcerating, housing, food assistance, dwi, driving w/o insurance, all manner of crime, drugs, prostitution, gang bangers...you name it.
We need a wall down on the border, not only because of the reasons I just listed, but because we've been promised this damn wall for years and congress failed to appropriate the funds for it after elected a decade or so ago.
If you pay careful attention you will see that Trump has not caved on anything since taking office.

Because he’s going to go ahead and build the wall whether he gets specific funding approved right now or now. From his stash. I mean to say from various appropriations that have been already granted to the DHS. He doesn’t need that much to get started.
