Le Pen is a French nationalist. That means she believes that ethnically French people and French culture have a privileged position in French society. She does not believe that French people have any obligation to give equal privilege to Muslims or Jews or english speakers any other non-French group. It is what it is. If France were not a European Christian country, it would be non controversial for the state to favor the symbols, culture and interests of the majority ethnic group.

It would, of course, be a dramatic reversal for France, which for a couple centuries, Vichy aside, at least pretends to be a secular state. Do you favor such a change for the US? Should Islam become dominant in France, ban the Cross? Legitimate policy?

I dont’ trust Le Pen, but she is right on dual citizenship. You can only be loyal to one country at a time

I don't disagree, but loyalty is the test. Dual citizenship is often a function of the non "controlling" country. A US citizen who wishes to disclaim previous citizenship often can't. And frequently US citizens can't disclaim. Of course in LePen's case her objection is more focused. No dual Israeli or US citizens, other EU countries or Russia, that's fine. Which betrays a bias unrelated to the citizenship issue.

You are still thinking about this from a liberal mental framework. If France become majority Muslim, it will become Islamic politically and religiously. You seem to be suggesting that French people should not favor themselves over Muslims so that Muslims will show the French mercy if they take over. It won’t make a difference. If Muslims take over, they are not going to go easier on the French because headscarves were allowed in public schools.

“Sure, Marine is a friend of the Jews. Who, if at all observant, may well need to look for new homes should France go the way of Le Pen.”

Marine Le Pen’s boyfriend of many years, whom she owns and shares a home with, is part Jewish (a grandmother or grandfather, forget which). He was dispatched to Israel by her campaign to speak with French Jews living in Israel.

She is not her father; in fact she kicked her anti-Semitic dad out of the Party he had started, to disassociate herself and the Party from him. You need to read up on Marine before attacking her as to her attitude towards Jews. In many ways, she is very Trump-like in policies, although, more leftist along with her populist nationalism.

At this point, what difference does it make. Regardless who’s elected, Jews in France should leave. I just got home from hospital. My right leg was badly infected, but anti-biotics beat the infection before it got gangrenous. France is beyond anti-biotics. It’s now a part of Eurabia.
