This is what chafes me about the ‘march on science’. When your scientific position falls back on numerical superiority, you have an evidence problem.

How many scientists were lined up against Galileo? Essentially, what Nye is arguing for is jailing scientists offering evidence that would disprove a prevailing scientific BELIEF, as if there is room for faith in science.

By the way, this is yet one more reason why we may not lose all that much if the Norks actually do nuke Seattle. The physical beauty of this area is at least extraordinary, and would be a loss, but wow is this place to far gone. Nye is a Seattle product.

Anyway, as long as the molecular weight of CO2 is less than the molecular weight of O2, phytoplankton will continue to thrive in the oceans. Tough to be a greenhouse gas when you are heavier than O2. N2 makes up most of the atmosphere (70 percent or so), which is good because it is lighter than O2, which drives O2 down to the surface of the planet where we can breath it all in.

Water vapor, by far, BY FAR is the major source of greenhouse effect. We can ban the rain I guess. Any group willing to try and label CO2 a pollutant might just try to do that I guess.

Thankfully, H2O is lighter than all of them, which is why we get clouds, and the ‘greenhouse effect’.

Sad, really.

Correction, CO2 is HEAVIER than O2. Early here and before coffee, but this made me mad early.
