DAVIS, Calif. (KCRA) — Two officers injured when they were attacked Saturday during the annual Picnic Day festivities in Davis, police said Monday.
The officers were taken to the hospital for treatment; their conditions on Monday were unknown.
Three officers were driving on Russell Boulevard around 3:30 p.m. Saturday in an unmarked police vehicle when they encountered a large group of people blocking traffic, the Davis Police Department said.
One officer was wearing police attire with a visible badge. The other two were wearing plain clothes but wore badges on their chests and their police weapons were visible.
The officers said a large, hostile group began to yell threats at them while they were inside the car. An unarmed person gestured he was pulling a weapon on the officers.
As the officers got out of the car, two of them were immediately attacked and beaten on the ground, police said. The crowd kicked and punched one officer in the head, and the other officer was hit with a bottle on the side of his head.
The officers could see people in the crowd recording the attack with their cell phones, police said.

I guess we should have expected the second civil war would start in Commiefornia. I understand a lot of good conservatives and moderate Independents live in Cali and I don’t have any idea what to say to them other than get out as soon as possible. I have family and friends there who aren’t budging. Who knows; maybe with them there the state may some day swing back to the right although right now it seems so unlikely.
Breaking the state up into 2-5 states does make sense to me. Just make sure to leave all of the liberals in one state so the rest can be conservative. A good section for the liberals would be just above Camp Pendleton in the south end of the state all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge and include Oakland over to the coast and everything west of I-5. Some adjustment of these new state lines will likely be necessary. Then encourage the rest of the lib/leftists in the state to move into that new state; whatever it will be called. Commiefornia has a nice ring to it IMHO but I could live with Fascists-R-Us too.
I can envision a need for a wall around it at some point and special travel papers needed to go in and out of the militarized zone of Commiefornia due to all the violent protests and snowflakes asking for protection from their own leftists troublemakers. HA! The only police department left in Commiefornia will be the Berkeley PD with their new pink uniforms and striped knee high socks. Guns and hats will be optional for them due to the gender fluid nature of the members and because, you know, guns are like scary and stuff. Otherwise only the criminals and military will have guns in this brave new state of incompetence.
In 10-15 years when the fascist leftists have killed each other off or all that’s left is the criminals; the state can be absorbed into the other new states with something done with the criminals (maybe put them on some island in the middle of the ocean somewhere) and a new era of the Pacific Coast can begin. It’s a nice dream anyway if nothing else can be worked out.
Shoot in self defense and worry about a job tomorrow.

Davis students (Un. of Cal)? Combined IQ of about minus 10. They will plead that they were just starting to turn their lives around, work 10 jobs like a Jamaican, go to GED school at night, and actually like cops.
Love the charges - some serious shit coming down on their heads. Anything with “aggravated” is mean time. Any time there is an attack on a police officer “with a weapon” it usually means more serious time, but then, again, this is Davis, California, another Marxist shithole on the Left Coast.
I guess the cops will be fired for defending themselves.

A BART train was swarmed by 50 “teens” yesterday robbing people. No respect for law and order with these BLM types. Also police departments such as Berkeley are laying low.
This attack was ignored at first by the mediots in the BART area. The excuse was not to identify the teenagers.
Sunday night, there was some coverage. Yesterday, the mediots started some coverage. This morning, there has been good coverage by the local Faux station.
One of the problems was the theft of smart phones by the teen BLMers. So there were no photos to go on the internet.
Photos of the thugs attacking Trump supporters on the internet, in San Jose and recently in Bezerkley, forced the local thugs in charge of the cities and cops to start arresting their beloved thugs and filing charges.
There are video cameras everywhere at the BaRT stations and on most of the trains from what I remember. These mutts are on tape.
Right... this story is such a farce! The plain clothed police mobbed on those kids is how it really went down. The kids were walking down the street... the plain clothes police mobbed up on them and jumped out the van and attacked those kids! I am so sick of lying police officers.
