Students at Hood College want a temporary display put up by the College Republicans chapter to be taken down early because they feel "threatened" by some of the "hateful" quotes from conservatives.
The display was originally intended to encourage discussion on controversial issues such as abortion and gender identity, but is instead being met with criticism, anger, and even vandalism, The Frederick News-Post reports.

Poor wittle babies. They need to retreat to their “safe spaces” and assume the fetal position. Conservatives are “scary”. LOL.

When they tell someone they “feel threatened”, WHY does nobody immediately say, “Please explain EXACTLY how you feel threatened by an idea. Please provide details.” They just throw out this nebulous I-feel-threatened catch-all phrase to manipulate the situation and have no clue what it entails.
I guess always “feeling threatened” is what causes them to live in mommy and daddy’s basement. Life is tough. It’s a lot tougher when you always “feel threatened.”
What gets me, too, is these are the same people who insist that women are strong and mighty, can do anything men can do, etc. Then they cower and whine that they’re terrified by an idea, by words. Well, are the females of them strong women, or not?
Wouldn’t that be interesting, demand equal safe space from liberal crapola. Of course they would never agree that anything they ever uttered or printed could offend anyone, but it would be interesting to watch the expression on their faces when hit with a similar charge.

OMG. It’s my mother’s beloved college. We just drove her through there the other week to see it again.
It was the name of the founder/benefactor.
It was a women’s college, until they gave in not too long ago and let it be fully co-ed. When I was getting into college, they would allow a few special men in, but still basically a women’s college.
My mother loved it there and often speaks of the federal-funding issue. In her day the president of the college railed against federal funding for their school, saying exactly what we all know: that it would lead to doing the bidding of the federal norms, kow-towing to demands of feds, bureaucracy, etc.
The president resigned over the pressure to take fed $ from board members, back c.1960.
He was right.

That said, you make excellent points regarding federal monies to our colleges and universities.
This needs to stop. Now. Immediately. Not one more red cent for these liberal bastions of disinformation and deceit.
No more grants, no more aid, no more student loans. No nothing.

I’ll bet the president also knew what kind of people would be attracted most to the school, too, with fed $. Liberals. They live off this. And thus the dominoes start to fall wherein not only are they rolling over to do the feds’ bidding, but most of the staff are going to be very willing to do so because they LOVE the gov teat.
