Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer said on Sunday he believes lawmakers could reach a short-term U.S. budget deal by Friday if President Donald Trump did not meddle in their talks with "poison pill" demands like funding for a border wall.

So, Schumer says he can get what he wants as long as it’s limited only to his party loyalist and those in the “opposition” that he and his party have blackmail info on.

I have noticed that the party that shuts down the Govt takes a political hit.GOP did it twice and it did not work out well. But with this 24x7 resist nonsense, let the Dems be the party of no progress. Let them take the hit especially the 8 Dem Senators up re-election take the hit.

So Schmuckie says they can do a budget deal without the POTUS, the country’s chief executive? No doubt he could with all the back stabbing rinos. Trump must stand firm, this is the only shot of getting the wall and saving the country.

Since Trump runs the treasury, I think he’ll have no problems spending only tax receipts with no borrowed money.

It only worked before because of a president who selectively chose to not pay people so he would get an uproar.
If Schumer stopped trying to be president obstructionist lots would get done.
Um... the president sets the budget and sends it to Congress. How, Constitutionally, can the president stay out of a budget deal when HE, and no one else, is supposed to formulate the budget?
Of course, Schumer, anything you want is possible if “they” would simply leave you, the ‘RATS and the RINOs alone.
And the GOP ought to be able to handle this themselves, by sticking together and up for the president’s priorities. Chucky’s blessing should not be required.
